Wisdom brings clarity out of confusion.
“Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe.”
— Proverbs 2:9-11 NLT
Do you sometimes feel like you just can’t think clearly or like your struggling to make a decision?
“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.”
— James 1:5 NLT
Wisdom cuts through emotion and gets to the reality of the situation. The voice of wisdom speaks to what is best for the big picture. Wisdom takes a step back and throughly evaluates a situation before charging ahead.
Wisdom is seeking to understand God’s perspective in matters.
Knowledge and experience mixed with common sense and discernment is a great recipe for wisdom.
As a life coach, I am always praying that God give me wisdom and insight into the situations of the people that I coach. I pray that I will clearly see, and help others see, the big picture and how our actions and decisions impact our lives.
“But for those who are righteous, the way is not steep and rough. You are a God who does what is right, and you smooth out the path ahead of them.”
— Isaiah 26:7 NLT
